We’re back for Summer 2026 with an expanded curriculum, additional instructors, and 2 full weeks to choose from!

Loop Music Academy’s Summer Band Camp is a half-day, weeklong experience where young musicians build confidence, collaborate with others, and learn what it’s like to play in a real band. New this year, we’re welcoming high school students to our afternoon sessions and introducing music recording and studio basics.

Camper Activities:

  • 🎸 Learn and explore multiple instruments in a fun, supportive environment

  • 🎶 Rehearse in small band groups with professional, working musicians

  • ✍️ Write and arrange an original song as a group

  • 🎧 Dive into the basics of music recording and the studio process

  • 🧠 Play music games, jam, and build musicianship skills

  • 🎤 Perform in a final showcase for friends and family

Camp Details:

  • 📍 Location: Coppell Arts Center – Coppell, TX

    • Week 1: June 22–26, 2026

    • Week 2: July 20–24, 2026

  • 🕘 Morning Session (Grades 2-5): 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • 🕐 Afternoon Session (Grades 6-12): 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

🎶 No prior band experience required - all instruments and skill levels welcome.

Camp FAQ’s

Have questions about camp? We've got answers!

Click to learn more about what to expect at band camp.

  • Camp is now open open to 2nd-12th graders. Students will be grouped by age and instrument into small “bands” for the best learning experience.

  • No experience needed! We welcome beginners through intermediate players. Campers will be grouped by skill level, and our instructors tailor activities to meet each student where they are.

  • Campers can play guitar, bass, drums, piano, and vocals. We’ll also offer chances for campers to try all of the instruments during jam sessions and music games.

  • If your child owns an instrument, we recommend bringing it. However, we will also have instruments available for students who want to try something new or need one to borrow during camp!

  • Camp will be held at the Coppell Arts Center in Coppell, TX.

    505 Travis St, Coppell, TX 75019

    • Morning Session (Grades 2–5): 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

    • Afternoon Session (Grades 6–12): 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • Students are not on campus during the lunch break. We will provide some snack foods for students to have in the middle of each session.

  • Yes! Each band will perform during an end-of-camp showcase on Friday afternoon for friends and family. Get ready to rock!

    The concert will feature bands from both sessions, as well as an instructor band.

    Concert Location: Coppell Arts Center

  • Tuition includes all instruction, materials, rehearsals, and the final concert performance.

    • Tuition: $365

    • Two Week Bundle: $685

    • Sibling and referral discounts are available!

  • Refunds are available up to 30 days before camp begins, minus a small processing fee. After that, tuition is non-refundable.

  • We completely understand! Unfortunately, we can’t offer make-ups for missed days, but your child will still be able to participate in the final performance if they attend later in the week.
